Deep Sea Animals

Kara wanted to be a deep sea diver so she found some swim goggles and put on my house shoes for the fins.
Deep Sea Diver:
She wanted to go to the store like that but I made her put on real shoes. She was disappointed but glad that she got to keep the goggles on.

Random pictures from May

We haven't done anything too exciting in May. Basically just resting up from soccer season.

I made these sponge balls which are basically like reusable water balloons. Soak them in water and toss them at the kids. They are really fun.

Aaron's last First Grade Choir Performance. His choir was even invited to sing at the spouses luncheon at headquaters. (I couldn't even go to that!)

Giant Frog Force

Well, the soccer season has come to an end. Aaron's last game was on the 30th. It was against the polite team so that was a nice way to end the season. Youth services gave every one certificates and medals. And his coaches gave him a treat bag. They also made one for Kara so that was nice. We are really going to miss going to soccer because the parents and kids were so nice.

They also had a team party that Tuesday. It was at the lake so they all played and ate pizza. It was really nice. All the kids got a really neat trophy, too. One of the moms made these cupcakes.

Aarons singing

Last Friday (the 24th) and this Friday (the 1st) Aaron had a musical performance. All the first grade pods sing for the parents and Aaron's pod was last Friday. He is also part of the first grade chorus, so their chorus is the opening act for all the pod performances. It was a neat little show. Aaron is quite shy so I was surprised that he made it into the chorus. But apparently she had them all try out without them knowing they were trying out. Aaron is a great singer but he is so shy he doesn't always participate in class. Anyway, the performances were good. It was so sweet. Kara loved the songs and was singing them when we got home. She told me, "My favorite part was the singing." They also have little dance moves with each song and that is cute to watch too.
I just love hearing those kids sing. Here are some pictures:

Linnea is the red-head sitting next to Aaron. He told me he is going to marry her, so we shall see. She's also on his soccer team and just as adorable as can be.
