Well, it was not a typical Mother's Day here. It wasn't even close to what I had imagined for Mother's Day, but it was fun. The kids and I had nerf gun battles for most of the day. First Kara was on my team and we did really good against Aaron. Kara was the decoy and while Aaron was distracted by her, I would shoot him. We did great. Then Aaron and Kara were against me. I didn't fair so well. Apparently the nerf bullets that had served me well that morning, failed me in the afternoon. Shot after shot was harmlessly deflected by some invisible armor that I did not posses. Alas, I lost the afternoon battles. But it only made me more determined to win the next time!
